Events at the Seaport are plentiful throughout the year, especially during the warmer months. The cool breezes off of New York harbor create an ideal venue for a host of summer activities. Festivals, sporting events, walkathons, new product launches and cultural celebrations dot the calendar each and every month.

South Street Seaport has both indoor and outdoor space that can accommodate from 50 up to 2,700 guests for both public and private events. Companies and organizations such as Intel, AT&T, American Express, Lincoln, General Motors, Disney, Proctor & Gamble and Avon have selected the Seaport as the venue of choice for a wide array of events and activities.

South Street Seaport has also served as the backdrop for numerous movie and television shows including I Am Legend, Dateline, Sesame Street and Law & Order, among others.
